As a token of our appreciation to all of our fans this holiday season, we’re offering our Pulperia album on the cheap from now until 2011. Pay what you want, minimum $1. So, if you still don’t have it, or want to get it for a bud, now is the time.
Feliz navidad.
Knew Years Eve Vol. II
Only seven short weeks until New Years Eve. Obviously most of us usually don’t finalize our plans for this annual bonanza until about two days after Christmas, but if you’re planning on attending Knew Years Eve Vol. II at the Larimer Lounge now is the time to get your tickets. Visit this website until Thanksgiving to get pre-sale tickets at half the regular price, as they go up to $15 after turkey day.
Joining us on the bill this year is American Tomahawk, a new band formed by former member of Young Coyotes and drummer for 3OH!3 Adam Halferty, as well as long-time friend Faceman. DJ Iridel will also be spinning some nasty flavor in between sets.
This event sold out last year, and judging by the number of tickets sold thus far appears to be well on the way to do the same for 2010, so act now to make sure you’re not left out in the cold.
Create & Destroy!
Create & Destroy!
Do them both with absolute conviction. Let the spectators sit and sort which is to be art and which to be disaster.
To both build and burn, the process is the beauty. It’s only the evidence of it that we frame and hang on the wall like souvenirs.
All Things November
Stellar show with Manchester Orchestra at the Bluebird on Sunday. Great band, and even greater dudes. We wish them the best as they travel to New York to open for Kings of Leon at Madison Square Garden next week. Solid.

This Friday, November 12th, we are headed up to Fort Collins for a show at Road 34. Joining us will be our dear friends from Long Beach The Fling, who are on their way out to Kansas to start a 3-week tour supporting Delta Spirit. We’ve sung our praises for this band for quite some time now, and are ecstatic to see them get this great opportunity with DS; we highly recommend both bands. Also on the bill up in the Fort is the fantastic band and “Fest” regulars 10-4 Eleanor.

The Fling will also be playing on Saturday the 13th in Denver at the Larimer Lounge, opening for one of our favorites Brothers O’Hair. Although we won’t be able to join them on the bill, you can expect at least a couple members of TK to be in the front row for both sets.
Jack Daniels No. 7 and Manchester Orchestra
Jack Daniels Studio No. 7 is throwing a private show featuring Manchester Orchestra from Atlanta, Georgia, this Sunday, November 7, at the Bluebird Theater here in Denver. We’ve just been added as support for the bill, and take the stage at 9pm sharp. Visit JD’s website for more info and a chance to get on the guest list for this show. First come first served, so get on it.
